This weekend The Reykjavík Academy had a meeting at Eyvindartunga. They enjoyed the warmth of the old farm and we look forward to further collaboration with them in the future.
The Reykjavík Academy (RA) is a non-profit institution for independent scholars in the humanities and social sciences. The Academy was founded in 1997 and moved to its present location at Hringbraut 121 in 1998. The Academy’s members also include a number of foundations, associations and companies. The Reykjavík Academy organizes conferences, arranges lectures and provides a forum for its members to discuss their research. Art exhibitions in the Academy’s Hoffmannsgallerí are also a vital part of its activities.
